At the start of the 2022-2023 American Legion Auxiliary administrative year, National President Vickie Koutz said, “I want to see our members remember why they joined in the first place — to help our veterans, military, and their families.”
Remember your why by renewing your ALA membership. Whether you joined to honor a family member’s military service or that of your own, it is important every year to pay membership dues and say yes to the Auxiliary’s mission. Renewing allows the ALA to continue being a strong community of volunteers serving veterans, military, and their families.
Your dues truly make a difference! Collectively from all our thousands of members, dues add up to make a large impact on the Auxiliary’s mission outreach and advocacy efforts to serve our nation’s 16.5 million veterans.
Today, the second membership renewal notice goes out because we still have members who haven’t renewed for the upcoming membership year.
As one of the nation’s most prominent supporters of veterans, military, and their families, your dues help in a variety of ways. Here are just a few examples:
In the spirit of Service, Not Self, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.
